Belt Drive Fanatics Oskar Blues Brewery Launches Reeb Cycles

  November 15, 2011

Reeb is the brainchild of the beer and bike fanatics at Oskar Blues in Lyons, Colorado. Reeb (it’s beer backwards in case you’ve already had a couple cans) has just launched its website and blog, which has some nice imagery of their new steel belt-drive singlespeed 29er and their new headbadge. You can check out the bikes in person this Friday, Nov. 18, in Longmont, Colo., at Oskar Blues’ 9th CANniversary at their Tasty Weasel Taproom, where there will be a pre-event cruiser ride, ribs, and lots of Mama’s Little Yellow Pils being poured. Reebs are all handmade in Colorado and are built for the rugged Rockies, with sturdy but light OX Platinum tubing, Gates Carbon Drive, a 120 mm Fox fork and beefy Kenda Nevegal 2.35 tires. These are hardtails for riders who aren’t afraid to bang over some rocks and surf the sandy corners. Check out the photos below. Good bikes and good beer: what else do you need to know?
