The Editor is the top-of-the-line urban commuter bike from German brand Cube. It uses uses Gates Carbon Drive’s premium CDX belt for “low-maintenance performance,” and the Editor features other nice touches including integrated seatpost lights for visibility in traffic. The bike’s stealthy black finish is highlighted with a subtle flash of purple on the rims, shown below.

Cube’s 2019 urban bike line also includes the Hyde Race and Hyde Pro, which both use Gates Carbon Drive’s CDN urban system, made specifically for pavement riding. Cube offers the frame in two styles: a standard step-over top tube or, shown below, the mixte version for easier mounting. Durable Schwalbe tires adorn rims with a flash of green for style. Simple in their aesthetic but advanced in their componentry, the Editor and Hyde represent a new breed of fast and sleek belt drive bikes for modern city living. Learn more at
