The bike pays homage to the wheat sheaf, the millstone and the baker who rides it.
Sam Whittingham of Naked Bicycles & Design is an award-winning custom bike builder who lives on Quadra Island in British Columbia, Canada. Sam rides hard and his work never ceases to amaze. Sam built this titanium singlespeed belt drive 29+ mountain bike for a baker who lives nearby on Gabriola Island. It’s a hot baguette with beautiful golden wheat detailing. Note the stylized millstone and wheat sheaf.
Sam harvested a bunch of killer components for the bike including the Gates Carbon Drive system, an Industry Nine BC360 wheelset, Brooks Cambium saddle, a 9point8 dropper post, Chris King I7 headset, Paragon Machine Works dropouts and a Fox Factory Series 34 fork.
